Noah

To all,

Wow can you believe the incredible weather? It is nice to cool down a little. I hope everyone has the opportunity to get out and enjoy it. I hope that after Saturday's discussion, it is more clear as to why we changed our name to Life Group. The name might have changed; however, we will still discuss the Word and dig into real topics that we are all experiencing. Lets continue to be open and honest with each other and watch us all grow together.

On to the week a head. I am unfortunately out on business until Saturday night, so John with take the reigns. Please take time to study about Noah and discover his life sentence. Are you thinking about yours? I hope that you are.

Honored to Lead,

Brian

Cain

Life Group,

Ok, the question was asked in class, why Life Group? Well, I dont have a clear answer but I am working on that. From my perspective, Life is what we are doing together, thus Life Group. It sounds good to me, but that is one opinion. I will get back with you on a "non Brian opinion" answer.

Ok on to the new series, Life Sentences. We will study characters of the Bible the rest of the year and what their Life Sentence is. We all have a sentence that could summarize who we are. What is yours? I challenged everyone, including myself, as we begin the new school year to examine your life sentence. I have attached " Righteous Living" that might help you in that sentence formation.

Lets rededicate ourselves to Righteous Living, and create an entirely new Life Sentence as we go through this series. I look forward to our discussion this week on Cain.

Striving for Righteousness,

Brian

Life Sentences - Abel

Gang,

First, a big thank you to Brian for teaching last Saturday. I am sure it was awesome! Well, here we go with the Fall Life Group Series, Life Sentences. Yes I did say Fall Series. Can you believe our kiddos go back to school next week? My how the summer has flown by.

The Life Sentences series will highlight characters from the Bible and what we can learn from their lives. I look forward to examining their lives and taking away how we can become better Christ Followers. This week we will be discussing Abel.

I truly look forward to coming back home this week and opening the Word with all of you.

IN HIM,

Brian
